I despise advertising. I have had it removed from my mail by the post office and do not watch television, listen to the radio or go to Walmart because of it.
I don’t want to be advertised to, and why should I. I can rent the movie I want to see with no commercials, choose my own products by word of mouth, or download the songs I like or have been recommended on Itunes.
I agree we are absolutely bombarded, and with today’s technology, it is ever increasing. I also despise it, and have taken steps so that I don’t have to witness it, or at least as minimally as possible.
The companies that do end up getting my dollars at the end of the day are the ones that don’t beat me over the head so much.
