I can’t help thinking it’s some form of solicitation. And people do it constantly, advertising fake acne products, weight loss products, etc etc. It didn’t used to happen, but now half of my questions have generic answers on them that came from a spamming robot.

What are some examples of advertising that have successfully persuaded you.

A large discount/warehouse retailer keeps sending me advertising emails and I’ve repeatedly asked to be removed from the email list to no avail. The company says I am unsubscribed but I keep receiving emails. This has been going on for months. Is there a way I can economically seek damages for this?
