So I was chatting on MSN and my friend sent me a request to do the whiteboard thing. While in whiteboard, they sent another application that was a “control” application. They said this allows them to see all my files and what websites I am on etc. Is this true? Why would such an application exist?? Would it require my permission for them to see all of my files, etc?

I am looking for a music program that i can download for free. I want to be able to mix my own songs that i already have on my computer. However I want to also be able to save the songs that I mix. I am only going to use this at home. I make a lot of slide shows with family pictures and i want to put my own music that i mix on them. Thanks!
