Does anyone know of any advertising agencies that take interns that have already graduated from school? I really want to get into advertising and I know that its the best, and almost the only way into the industry. I just moved to New York City and am enthusiastic about this. I’ve already gone out and asked several companies but I want to see if anybody knows of any places that definitely have internship programs for college grads.

My husband and his brother have been starting their own construction business, building custom homes, in a small city. They’re both very experienced and do a great job. The only ones involved with the business are my brother-in-law and his wife + my husband and me. My sister-in-law takes care of the finances, and I’ve been put in charge of the advertising. I have no idea where to start! We don’t have a lot of money to work with here, but we’ve got to get their name out somehow.
Any suggestions would be great!!!

We are planning a weekend trip to NYC and I see that there is a huge price difference in staying in the city and out of the city (duh!). Do any of the hotels near the airports offer a free shuttle into the city or do we have to take a cab? I need recommendations on where to stay. We may be coming up via Amtrack, but we haven’t decided yet.

He rented them out to local businesses for advertising space. I am really interested in trying this out in my home town. The problem is that I live in a town with a population of somewhere around 20,000. We don’t have a park that people really go to or a city bus route. So I’m trying to think of something else I could build that would make the city look nicer, but I could also advertise on it. One thing that has been mentioned to me is trash can holders. Any other ideas?
