could this be possibly true with her apparent wealth. I would have thought she would have the worlds top hair dressers queueing up to do her hair , but you have to admire her thrift in theses credit crunching times. opinions please.

I am scheduled for a free consultation to see whether the japanese hair straightening method can be done on my hair. This includes the strand test. I’m not sure how long it will take but it would probably be around 10-15 mins. Should I tip the stylist after the consultation? I don’t know the norm for this, as this is my first time to get the procedure. And I don’t want to upset the stylist if it is indeed customary to give a tip after the consultation.
I have super frizzy wavy hair. I straighten it every day, but it gets fly aways and waves in it as the day continues because of the humidity. It also gets really frizzy. How do I keep my hair stick-straight, silky, and frizz-free?
I have about 12 inches to donate and I know that some places will cut your hair for free, while others will only give you the tax form. Locks of Love doesn’t list participating salons anymore.
I don’t mind which organization I end up donating to. I would much rather just get the free cut, but any place that is set up for donating would be good. I know I can send it myself but I’d rather just let someone else do it.
Suggestions? I live in SoCal.
