I use WordPress for a blog hosted on my own site, and it is saying it needs to be updated. I’m afraid that if I upload the new version to my site, it will erase my previous posts.
Also, would I have to uninstall the previous version from the server before uploading the updated version?
Sorry, new to this and not sure what to do.

I have a sharing folder with a few contacts on my msn but never really understood how to use it. It keeps sending me a msg saying so and so has updated there sharing folder with you. What does this mean, my contact has got some music or a file from me?
